Getting here by Sea

Perfect for seafarers, our Marina is easily accessed, with pontoon moorings available for visiting yachts.

Yachts and Motor Cruisers of up to 60 feet are able to enjoy use of our Marina. We cater for a mix of permanent berths and short term tourist moorings so bring your boat and enjoy a holiday on the sea.

The following arrival navigation details are based on the WGS84 chart datum.

From the North

From 0.75nm east of the 15m tall Platte Fougere light tower (white with a black band), head south towards Beaucette’s approach waypoint (49°30´·10N 002°28´·85W) located to the SE of the spindly Petite Canupe South Cardinal Marker.
From the south

From 0.1nm west of the Roustel light tower, head for Beaucette’s approach waypoint (49°30´·10N 002°28´·85W) located to the SE of the spindly Petite Canupe South Cardinal Marker.
From the Beaucette Waypoint

Turn west for Beaucette Fairway and call ‘Beaucette Marina’ on Ch80.

A peaceful and beautiful marina in the English Channel

A stone's-throw away from the British and French coasts, Beaucette Marina is a tranquil setting tucked away in the north-east of Guernsey. It is in the perfect location to allow you to explore Guernsey and its four sister Islands, whilst still affording you the opportunity to truly relax.

All you need to know about using our marina facilities.

Tidal height and access over the sill

Access to the marina (2m of water) can be made 3 hours either side of of high tide in Guernsey. A depth gauge, showing the depth of water over the sill in metres is visible through the marina entrance on the small breakwater. If you have any concerns prior to entering the Marina, please call ‘Beaucette Marina’ on Ch80.
Waiting buoys

If you arrive before sufficient tidal height is over the still (2m), please use one of the four waiting buoys North of the fairway, near the marina entrance. To help, all buoys have red bobbers on short ropes.
Entering the marina

Prior to entering Beaucette Marina, please call ‘Beaucette Marina’ on Ch80 for clearance to enter in order to ensure there are no conflicting inbound vessels.
Once inside the marina

As soon as you are through the entrance, turn to port. The Visitors’ Pontoon is ahead of you.
Marina dories are always on hand to come and escort craft into our Marina.
Departing Beaucette Marina

When departing Beaucette Marina, prior to casting off, please call ‘Beaucette Marina’ on Ch80 for clearance to exit in order to ensure there are no conflicting inbound vessels.
Passports and visas

If you are arriving directly from the UK or Republic of Ireland, although it is not a legal requirement, we advise that you bring your passport. The customs declaration form you will have to complete upon arrival will ask for your passport details.
If you are arriving from outside the UK or Republic of Ireland, irrespective of your nationality, you must have a valid passport or travel document. EU and Swiss nationals may use their national identity cards.
Customs

We are a Customs Port of Entry. If you have arrived from Jersey, the UK or any other EU country, you will need to complete a Customs declaration form, available from the Marina Office. There is a yellow Customs Post Box next to our Marina Office’s Door.
