The Marina access was very straight forward and not the horror story that the almanacs predict. I noticed that the marina dory often went out to help yachts in. This is not mentioned in Reeds 2010.

Approach to Beaucette
Beaucette Marina is situated on the north east point of Guernsey.
From the North
If proceeding from the Alderney race, the Swinge or west of the Casquests head for the Platte Fougere light-
house, a black an d white tower which is to the north east of Guernsey. On
approaching the Platte Fougere leave
it to the west.

Continue southwards to the Petite
Canupe which is a south cardinal mark and leave to the west. On passing the Petite Canupe turn due west and head into the Beaucette bouyed channel.

From the South
Proceed northwards through the Little
Russel passing between Platte Beacon (Fl. WR.3s 6m 7.5) and the Roustel Beacon.
Once you have passed these two
beacons head towards the Petite
Canupe, a south cardinal mark that is
due east of Beaucette Marina. Head towards Beaucette Fairway red and white bouy then turn west into the bouyed channel.
